Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) Disclosure
Pursuant to the Credit Repair Organizations Act, 15 U.S.C. Section 1679 et seq.:
- You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly.
- You are not required to purchase any product or service from TrustScore Credit Repair to dispute inaccurate information. You may dispute information on your own, free of charge.
- TrustScore Credit Repair cannot require payment until the promised services have been fully performed.
- TrustScore Credit Repair cannot make false or misleading statements about its services or your credit standing.
- You have the right to cancel your contract with TrustScore Credit Repair within three (3) business days of signing, without any penalty or obligation.
- TrustScore Credit Repair must provide you with a written contract specifying the terms and conditions of payment, including the total amount of all payments, and detailing the services to be performed.

Results Disclaimer / No Guarantee
TrustScore Credit Repair does not guarantee specific credit score increases or the removal of specific items from your credit report. Credit repair results vary significantly based on individual circumstances, including:
- The nature, age, and accuracy of negative items on your credit reports
- The responsiveness and policies of individual credit bureaus and data furnishers
- Changes in applicable laws and bureau investigation procedures
- Your cooperation and timely provision of requested documentation

TrustScore Credit Repair is not a debt collector and does not engage in debt collection activities. When we send debt validation letters on your behalf, we do so as your authorized representative exercising your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 U.S.C. Section 1692 et seq.). Your rights under the FDCPA include:
- The right to request debt validation within 30 days of first contact by a collector
- The right to be free from harassment, abuse, and unfair practices
- The right to dispute any debt and demand verification
- The right to send a cease-and-desist letter to stop collection communications

State-Specific Compliance Notices
Many states have additional credit repair laws that may provide you with rights beyond those provided by federal law. TrustScore Credit Repair complies with all applicable state credit services organization acts, including but not limited to:
- California (CA Civil Code Sec. 1789.10-1789.26): You have the right to cancel within 5 business days. Bond required.
- Texas (TX Finance Code Ch. 393): Additional surety bond requirements. Right to cancel within 3 days.
- New York (NY Gen. Bus. Law Art. 29-H): Credit services agencies must register. Right to cancel within 5 days.
- Florida (FL Stat. Sec. 817.7001-817.7005): Credit repair organizations must register. 3-day cancellation.
- Georgia (GA Code Sec. 16-9-59): Credit repair organizations must be bonded. 5-day cancellation.
- Illinois (815 ILCS 605): Credit Services Organizations Act. 5-day cancellation right.
- New Mexico: As our home state, we comply with all applicable New Mexico consumer protection statutes, including the Unfair Practices Act (NMSA 1978, Sec. 57-12-1 et seq.).
If your state provides a longer cancellation period than the 3-day federal CROA minimum, the longer state period applies. Contact us or your state attorney general's office for state-specific rights.
