REQUIRED DISCLOSURE — CREDIT REPAIR ORGANIZATIONS ACT (CROA)

CONSUMER CREDIT FILE RIGHTS UNDER STATE AND FEDERAL LAW

You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly. However, you are not required to purchase any service from TrustScore Credit Repair to dispute such information. You may do so on your own, at no charge, by contacting any of the three national credit bureaus:

Experian

P.O. Box 4500
Allen, TX 75013

Equifax

P.O. Box 740256
Atlanta, GA 30374

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), credit bureaus are required to investigate items in question — usually within 30 days — free of charge. If reinvestigation does not resolve the dispute to your satisfaction, you may add a brief statement to your credit report. The credit bureau must include or provide a summary of your statement to anyone who requests your report.

Under the FCRA, the consumer reporting agency must correct or delete inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information in your report — usually within 30 days. There is no charge for this service.

Under the CROA, a credit repair organization (such as TrustScore Credit Repair):

  • Cannot require you to pay until the services have been fully performed
  • Cannot make false or misleading claims about its services
  • Cannot advise you to make false statements to a credit bureau or alter your identity (including your Social Security number) to change your credit history
  • Must provide you a written contract that specifies your rights and obligations, the services to be performed, the total cost, and time estimates
  • Must inform you of your right to cancel within three (3) business days without charge

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL: You may cancel your contract with TrustScore Credit Repair without any penalty or obligation within three (3) business days from the date on which you signed the contract. To cancel, notify us in writing at: TrustScore Credit Repair, 1342 NM 333, Tijeras, NM 87059, or by email at cancel@trustscore.com.

If you have any questions regarding this disclosure or the Credit Repair Organizations Act, you may contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at: Federal Trade Commission, Washington, D.C. 20580, or online at www.ftc.gov.
